Summary: Workouts are great but bugs in the app are killing my training.
I used the trial version of the “Break 3:30” marathon training plan. It was challenging but solid. The workouts have sufficient rest in-between harder workouts and I believed I was making great progress towards my goal of breaking 3:30. I went ahead and paid for a subscription when the trial version ran out.
All was well until the 12 or 13 week mark. The app would tell me my trial had run out and I needed to buy a plan. When I tried to buy one, the app correctly informed me that I had already paid and all was good, with full access to my training plans. After about 5 days of this, all my training plans were erased. The app is running me through this cycle of “Buy a plan…oh, you already have one…buy a plan…oh, you already have one.” I’ve deleted and reloaded the app, restored purchases, etc. Nothing is working. RW support has not responded to online queries thus far, and attempts to call RW has been unproductive.
It’s disappointing because I really think the workouts are great. I really believe I’m in a position to reach my goal…if only I could access the rest of the training plans. If I were in week 3, I’d be ok, but I’m more than 75% into a training regimen and can’t afford missteps.
